Embodied Recovery for Eating Disorders

This 3-day training is for eating disorder professionals (therapists, dietitians, medical staff, clinic staff) who are interested in innovative approaches that incorporate the body, the very stage where the war is being waged, into the treatment process. Drawing from over two decades of experience, Embodied Recovery integrates traditional eating disorder treatment with the latest advancements from trauma, attachment, child development, mindfulness, and more. We offer a new model for understanding and working with eating disorders that integrates concepts from Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Body-Mind Centering. Join us to to learn about the link between trauma, attachment, and digestion and its implication in disordered eating behaviors.
