Attachment Theory: The Slippery Slope of Dating presented by Bryce Bronstein, LCSW, BCD

In this presentation, we will look at Bowlby’s and Ainsworth’s attachment theories. We will see how these theories help us to better understand the challenges and felt risks of dating. We will increase our understanding of how dating can often undermine recovery success. With this increased understanding, participants will be introduced to The Dating Model™. The Dating Model™, authored by this presenter, dramatically reduces the risks of dating, ensuring the potential for greater recovery outcomes. Participants will leave the presentation learning effective coaching strategies available through the use of The Dating Model™.

Bryce Bronstein, LCSW, BCD is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and creator of The Dating Model(TM). Twenty five years of experience as a private practitioner specializing in the treatment of Eating Disorders has revealed the hidden threat that dating imposes on recovery. Confidence while dating is a cornerstone to recovery success. The Dating Model(TM) transforms the current culture of dating from pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey into a new realm of empowerment.
